Chap. CCXII.— An Act for the relief of William Dickson.July 13, 1832. *Be it enacted, &c.,* That the Commissioner of the General Land Office is authorized and required to issue, upon application, to William Commissioner of the General Land Office required to issue scrip to him on account of forfeitures. Dickson, his legal representatives, or assigns, scrip to the amount of five hundred and seventy-two dollars and eighty-four and a half cents; being the one-fourth part of the original purchase money paid to the Receiver of the Land Office at Saint Stephens, in Alabama, for the purchase of the north-east quarter of section numbered eight, in township numbered seventeen, of range numbered four, east; and of the south-east quarter of section numbered five, in township numbered seventeen, of range numbered four, east; and of the south-east quarter of section numbered eight, in township numbered seventeen, of range numbered four, east; and of the north-east quarter of section numbered eighteen, in township numbered seventeen, of range numbered four, east; all in the district of lands offered for sale at Saint Stephens; which said lands were forfeited, and have reverted to the United States; and of which said Dickson was the legal assignee from the original purchasers, at the time of said forfeiture; said scrip to be receivable in payment for the Scrip to be receivable in payment for certain lands. purchase of any lands which have been once offered for sale in Alabama, Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, or Arkansas Territory.
