Chap. CCX.— An Act making an appropriation for the payment of the claims of Daniel D. Tompkins, late Governor of the state of New York, against the United States. May 26, 1824. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the sum of sixty thousand two hundred and1323, ch. 12.60,239 dollars 24 cents to be paid to him for his services and losses, &c. thirty-nine dollars and twenty-four cents, shall be, and is hereby, appropriated, to be paid by the Secretary of the Treasury to Daniel D. Tompkins, late Governor of the state of New York, in full for the balance found due him, for his services, losses, and disbursements, for, or on account of, the United States, during the late war with Great Britain.
