CCVIII.— An Act *for the relief of Ezekiel Jones.*March 3, 1839. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the proper accounting officers of the Treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized to allow to Ezekiel Jones, forAllowed compensation as commander of revenue cutter Washington. his services as commander of the revenue cutter “Washington,” while acting in conjunction with the navy of the United States in eighteen hundred and thirty-six, the same amount of pay as a lieutenant in the navy would be entitled to receive for like services, deducting therefrom the sum which he has already received therefor.
