Chap. CCVIII.— An Act *to for the relief of the legal representatives of Captain Charles Snead, deceased.*July 7, 1838. *Be it enacted, &c*.,That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be,Allowed five years’ half pay of a captain. and they are hereby, required to adjust and settle the account of the late Captain Charles Snead, of the Virginia line on continental establishment, and allow his legal representatives five years’ full pay of a captain of infantry, in commutation of half pay for life, promised by the resolutions of Congress, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
