Chap. CCCXXIII.— An Act *for the relief of John M. Gamble.* July 2, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Secretary of the Navy be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause to be paid to John M. Gamble,Value of rations furnished by him to be paid. out of any moneys not otherwise appropriated, twenty-five cents for each ration furnished by him to seventeen seamen and four marines, together with six prisoners of war, under his command, when left by Commodore Porter in charge of prizes in the Pacific ocean, during the years eighteen hundred and thirteen, and eighteen hundred and fourteen.
