(/us/pl/76/305)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the SecretaryNevada.Conveyance of certain lands to, authorized. of the Interior is authorized and directed to convey to the State of Nevada all right, title, and interest of the United States in the following- described area: The northwest quarter of the northeast quarterDescription. of section 11, township 43 north, range 51 east, Mount Diablo base and meridian, in part satisfaction of the grant to the State for university purposes made by the Act of July 4, 1866 (14 Stat. 85) :[14 Stat. 85](/us/stat/14/85). *Provided*, That the patent issued to the State for this tract shall contain*Proviso*.Mineral reservation. a reservation to the United States for all oil, gas, and other mineral deposits, together with the right to prospect for, mine, and remove the same under such regulations as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe.

Approval of bridge across, at Cut Off, La. Engineers and the Secretary of War are hereby authorized to approve the location and plans of a bridge already constructed by the police jury of La Fourche Parish of Louisiana across Bayou La Fourche at Cut Off, Louisiana: *Provided*, That said bridge has been authorized*Proviso*.Condition. by the Legislature of the State of Louisiana and as located and constructed affords reasonably free, easy, and unobstructed navigation. Sec. 2. That when the location and plans of said bridge have beenBridge deemed lawful upon approval of location and plans. approved as provided in section 1 of this Act, said bridge shall be deemed a lawful structure and subject to the laws enacted by Congress for the protection and preservation of the navigable waters of the United States.
Sec. 3. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, August 7, 1939.
