(/us/pvtl/76/79)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Howard Arthur Beswick.Provisions of Employees’ Compensation Act extended to. That notwithstanding the provisions and limitations of sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering in juries while in the [39 Stat. 746, 747](/us/stat/39/746/747).[5 U. S. C. §§ 763–779](/us/usc/t5/s763–779).performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, approved September 7, 1916, as amended, the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission be, and the same is hereby, authorized and directed to receive and consider, when filed, the claim of Howard Arthur Beswick, of Ludlow, Vermont, for disability alleged to have been incurred by him October 21, 1928, when a plane piloted by him while a Naval Reserve officer on active duty crashed near Des Moines, Iowa: *Provisos*.Time for filing claim.No prior benefits.*Provided*, That claim hereunder shall be filed within six months after the approval of this Act: *Provided further*, That no benefits shall accrue prior to the enactment of this Act.

Digitization Vendor 2024-11-24 private 53 Stat. 1473 [CHAPTER 294] AN ACT For the relief of Anthony Coniglio.July 15, 1939[[S. 221](/us/bill/76/s/221)][[Private, No. 80](/us/pvtl/76/80)]. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryAnthony Coniglio.Payment to. of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Anthony Coniglio, of Lincoln, Nebraska, the sum of $750, in full satisfaction of all his claims against the United States for compensation for an injury sustained by him, causing the loss of hearing in one ear, while an inmate of the United States prison camp at Kooskia, Idaho, as the result of an explosion of dynamite when he was working with a crew on a road near Kooskia, Idaho, on October 5, 1937: *Provided*, That*Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating the provisions of this ActPenalty for violation. shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
