That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated to W. Elisabeth Beitz, widow of William E. Beitz, late American consul at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the sum of $4,400, such sum representing one year’s salary of her deceased husband who died while in the Foreign Service.
