(/us/pvtl/76/48)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Bernard Woodruff.Provisions of Employees’ Compensation Act extended to. That the limitations of time in sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other [39 Stat. 746](/us/stat/39/746).[5 U. S. C. §§ 765–770](/us/usc/t5/s765–770).purposes’ approved September 7, 1916, as amended by sundry Acts, including the Act of February 15, 1934, are hereby waived in favor of Bernard Woodruff, and the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission is authorized to receive and consider his claim under the remaining provisions of said Act as extended to enrollees in the Civilian Conservation Corps, for disability resulting from an injury to his foot alleged to have been sustained while in the performance of duty as an enrollee in the said Corps during the month of October *Provisos*.Time for filing claim.No prior benefits.1935: *Provided*, That claim hereunder shall be filed within six months from the approval of this Act: *And provided further*, That no benefits shall accrue prior to the approval of this Act.

Smigell had made application for benefits under the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, approved September 7, 1916, as amended, within the period required by sections 17[39 Stat. 742.](/us/stat/39/742)[5 U. S. C. §§ 751–790](/us/usc/t5/s751–790).No prior benefit. and 20 thereof.
