Bevan.Payment to. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Macey N. Bevan, widow of Thomas Horatio Bevan, late American Consul General at Warsaw, Poland, the sum of $8,400, equal to one year’s salary of her deceased husband, who died at Berlin, Germany, July 23, 1938, while in the Foreign Service.

Any person violating the provisions of this ActPenalty for violation. shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
