Anse Little.Provisions of Employees’ Compensation Act extended to.[39 Stat. 746, 747](/us/stat/39/746/747).[5 U. S. C. §§ 765–770](/us/usc/t5/s765–770). That sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, approved52 Stat. 1385 September 7, 1916, are hereby waived in favor of J.
Anse Little, of Mize, Mississippi, and the Employees’ Compensation Commission is hereby authorized and directed to receive and consider his claim under the remaining provisions of such Act, as extended and limited by the Act of February 15, 1934 (48 Stat. 351), for loss of his left leg[48 Stat. 351](/us/stat/48/351).[5 U. S. C. § 796; Supp. III, § 796](/us/usc/t5/s796). allegedly due to injury sustained in January 1934, in the course of his employment as a laborer on a Civil Works Administration project in Smith County, Mississippi, but only if he files such claim with theTime for filing claim.

It shall be unlawful for any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, to exact, collect, withhold, or receive any sum of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof on account of services rendered in connection with said claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisionsPenalty for violation. of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
