(/us/pvtl/75/417)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Frank Pashley.Adjustment of claim authorized. That the Comptroller General of the United States is hereby authorized and directed to adjust and settle the claims of Frank Pashley for blood furnished February 24 and 27, 1937, for transfusion to Llewelyn T. McKee, a patient in a Government hospital, and to allow in full and final settlement of said claims an amount not in excess of $15 and $10, a total of $25; also to adjust and settle the claim of Brown GarrettBrown Garrett.
Adjustment of claim authorized. for blood furnished February 11, 1937, for transfusion to Albert King, a patient in a Government hospital, and to allow in full settlement of said claim an amount not in excess of $25, all under the appropriation of the Veterans’ Administration available for payment for blood transfusion: *Provided*, That no part of the amount*Proviso.*Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemedPenalty for violation. guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
