(/us/pl/75/254)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Healing Arts Practice Act, D. C. 1928, amendment.[45 Stat. 1334](/us/stat/45/1334).Time limitation for filing application for license to practice repealed. That the Act of Congress entitled “An Act to regulate the practice of the healing art to protect the public health in the District of Columbia”, known as the “Healing Arts Practice Act, District of Columbia, 1928”, approved February 27, 1929, be amended by striking from the first paragraph of section 24 thereof the sentence reading as follows:
“After five years after the approval of this Act the commission shall issue no license to practice the healing art in the District of Columbia on the basis of a license to practice medicine and surgery or to practice midwifery, in the District of Columbia, in force on the date of its approval,” Approved, August 11, 1937.
