(/us/bill/75/pl/17)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the consentCoosa River.Alabama, etc., may bridge, at Gilberts Ferry. of Congress is hereby granted to the State of Alabama, or Etowah County, or both, to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Coosa River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Gilberts Ferry, in Etowah County, Alabama, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges overConstruction.[34 Stat. 84](/us/stat/34/84).[33 U. S. C. §§ 491–498](/us/usc/t33/s491–498). navigable waters”, approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the conditions and limitations contained in this Act.

That the times for commencing and completing the construction of a bridge across the Savannah River at or near Lincolnton, Georgia, authorized to be built by the State of Georgia by an Act of Congress approved February 24, 1933, heretofore extended by an Act of Congress approved August 30, 1935, are hereby further extended one and three years, respectively, from February 24, 1937. Sec. 2. Amendment. TThe right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 10, 1937.
