C.Conveyance of, to persons designated. That the Secretary of War, notwithstanding the terms and conditions of contract of sale and purchase dated January 14, 1926, as amended, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to convey to Henry T. Sharp, Asheville, North Carolina; Hilliard B. Atkins, Waynesville, North Carolina; and Theodore S.
Meekins, Manteo, North Carolina, as their interest may appear, all the right, title, and interest of the United States of America in and to the Beacon Island Military Reservation, North Carolina, without payment of the balance due the United States under the aforesaid contract, as amended.
