Cook.Provisions of Employees’ Compensation Act extended to.[39 Stat. 746, 747](/us/stat/39/746/747).[5 U. S. C. § 765–770](/us/usc/t5/s765–770). That the provisions and limitations of sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, approved September 7, 1916, as amended and supplemented, are hereby waived in the case of James O.
Cook, of Valier, Montana, formerly employed by the Civil Works Administration on the South Marias Hill Project, north of Valier, Montana; and the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission is authorized Time for filing claim.and directed to consider and act upon any claim filed with the Commission, within six months after the date of the enactment of this Act, by said James O. Cook for compensation under the provisions of such Act of September 7, 1916, as amended and supplemented, for disability due to injuries received by him in the performance or his duties during the time he was so employed.

That the limitations of time in sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, approved September 7, 1916, as amended, are hereby waived in favor of Robert Coates, of Glass, Gloucester County, Virginia, and the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission is authorized to receive and consider his claim, under the remaining provisions of said Act, for tuberculosis alleged to have been contracted as a result of his employment on ships of the 1067Reserve Fleet Division of the United States Shipping Board Merchant Fleet Corporation during the months of October, November, and December 1921;
October and November 1923; and October 1924: *Provisos*.Time for filling claim.No prior benefits. *Provided*, That claim hereunder shall be filed within six months from the approval of this Act: *Provided further*, That no benefits shall accrue prior to the approval of this Act.
