Chap. XX.— An Act *to re-enact and continue in operation the several acts now in force for the relief of insolvent debtors of the United States.*(*b*)(*b*) See notes to the act of March 2, 1831, chap. 62.Jan. 28, 1843. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the act entitled, Acts continued for 3 years, &c. Act of May 27, 1810, ch. 26.“An act to extend for a longer period the several acts now in force Cor the relief of insolvent debtors of the United States,” approved the twenty-seventh May, eighteen hundred and forty, and the several acts therein mentioned, shall be, and the same are hereby, re-enacted and continued in force for three years from and after the expiration of the said first-mentioned act, and until the cases which may be depending 598TWENTY-SEVENTH CONGRESS.
Sess. III. Ch. 26, 27. 1843.when such first-mentioned act shall expire shall be determined, for the purpose of finally disposing of such cases, and for no other purpose. Approved, January 28, 1843.
