Chap. XVI.— An Act giving the assent of Congress to the holding of an extra session of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Iowa.April 30, 1844. [Obsolete.] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the assent of Congress Extra session of Legislative Assembly of Iowa in 1844. Proviso. is hereby given to the holding of an extra session of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Iowa, in the month of June, eighteen hundred and forty-four: *Provided,* That no portion of the expense of such extra session shall be paid by the Government of the United States. Approved, April 30, 1844.
