Chap. LXVIII.— An Act to provide for the erection of a marine hospital at Key West, in the Territory of Florida.June 15, 1844. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the sum of To be expended under direction of Sec. of Treasury. Proviso. twenty-five thousand dollars be, and is hereby appropriated for the erection and furnishing of a marine hospital at Key West, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury: *Provided,* That the said Secretary shall be able to cause a suitable hospital to be erected, and properly furnished for the amount hereby appropriated. Approved, June 15, 1844.
