Chap. LXV.— An Act to establish certain post roads in the Territory of Florida.June 15, 1844. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the following be established Post-roads established in Florida. as post roads in the Territory of Florida, to wit: From Alligator to Blount’s Ferry on the Suwannee river, From Pilatka to Enterprise on the St. John’s river, From Pilatka to Tampa, via Orange creek, Fort King, Warm Spring, Fort Dade and Fort Foster, From Watchahotie to Fort Dade, via Emathla, Fort Izard, Homosassa, Annutiliga, and Chocachattie, From St.
Augustine to Miami river and Key West, via New Smyrna and St. Lucie, From Enterprise to New Smyrna, From Newmansville, via Cassinville, to Cedar Key. Approved, June 15, 1844.
