[Obsolete.] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the sum of fifteen Appropriation.thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, to be paid out of any unappropriated money in the Treasury, for the relief and To be expended according to the act of Feb. 28, 1803, ch. 9.protection of American seamen in foreign countries; to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of State, in pursuance of the “act supplementary to the act concerning consuls and vice consuls, and for the further protection of American seamen,” passed twenty-eighth February, eighteen hundred and three.
