CLXXIX.— An Act *to change the name of the part of entry on Lake Erie, known as Portland, to that of Sandusky.* Aug. 16, 1842. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That from and after After 1st October 1842, Portland to be called Sandusky.the first day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-two, the port of Portland on Lake Erie, in the district of Sandusky, in the State of Ohio, shall be called the port of Sandusky.
