Chap. CLXXIX.— An Act making appropriation for the compilation of the laws of Florida.July 7, 1838. [Obsolete.] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the sum of two thousand Appropriation. dollars be, and the same hereby is, appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended in compiling the statutes and other laws of the Territory of Florida; the same to be placed for that purpose under the control of the Governor of said Territory. Approved, July 7, 1838.
