Chap. CCLXIX.— An Act *establishing a court at Charleston, in the Commonwealth of Virginia.*(*a*)(*a*) See notes of the acts relating to the District Courts of Virginia, vol. 3, 479.Aug. 29, 1842. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That hereafter terms of the 548TWENTY-SEVENTH CONGRESS. Sess. II. Ch. 270. 1842. District Court to be held at Charleston, in lieu of Lewisburg.district court for the western district of Virginia, be holden at Charleston, in the county of Kenawha, commencing on the Wednesdays after the second Mondays in April and September of each year, in lieu of the sessions of said district court now held al Lewisburg, in the county of Greenbriar, which said last mentioned sessions of said court are hereby discontinued.
