H.Survey of, and tributaries, directed for controlling floods. That the Secretary of War is hereby authorized and directed to cause a preliminary examination to be made of the Androscoggin River and its tributaries in the States of Maine and New Hampshire, with a view to the control of their floods, in accordance with the provisions of section Vol. 39, p. 950.[U.
