That the Act entitled “An Act authorizing the adjustment of the boundaries of the Deschutes National Forest, in the State of Oregon, and for other purposes”, approved February 2, 1922, is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new section: " “Sec. 2. Addition authorized. Such lands in public ownership within six miles of the exterior boundaries of the Deschutes National Forest, in the State of Oregon, as may be found by the Secretaries of Agriculture and of the Interior to be chiefly valuable for national-forest Proclamation.purposes, may be added to the Deschutes National Forest by proclamation of the President, subject to any valid existing claims in such lands.
