(/us/bill/74/pl/468).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryEsopus Creek and tributaries, N. Y.Survey directed for controlling floods. of War is authorized and directed to cause a preliminary examination to be made of Esopus Creek and its tributaries of Birch, Bushnelville, Woodland, Warner Bushkill, and Beaverkill Creeks, Sawkill, Rondout, and Neversink Creeks, Ulster County; Schoharie and Catskill Creeks, Greene County;
Neversink, Beaverkill, East Branch of Delaware, Willowemoc, and Lackawack Rivers, Sullivan County; Schoharie Creek and its tributaries, Schoharie County, all located in the State of New York, with a view to the control of floods, in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of an Act entitled “An Act to provideVol. 39, p. 950.[U. S. C., p. 1487](/us/usc/p1487). for control of floods of the Mississippi River, and the Sacramento River, California, and for other purposes”, approved March 1, 1917, the cost thereof to be paid from appropriations heretofore or hereafter made for examinations, surveys, and contingencies of rivers and harbors.
