S. C., pp. 2321, 2228](/us/usc/pp2321/2228). Commerce Act, as amended, is amended by inserting at the end of section 11 and immediately preceding the last sentence of section 24 a new sentence as follows: “ Upon the expiration of his term of office a Commissioner shall continue to serve until his successor is appointed and shall have qualified.

S. C., pp. 1513, 1527](/us/usc/pp1513/1527). The acting assistant surgeons of the United States Navy who, on the date of the passage of this Act, have reached the age of seventy years shall be placed on the retired list of the Navy with pay at the rate of three-fourths of their active-duty pay.
