(/us/pl/74/100).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Navy. [R. S., sec. 1383, p. 247](/us/rs/s1383/p247); [U. S. C., p. 1514](/us/usc/p1514). That section 1383 of the Revised Statutes of the United States is amended to read as follows: " “Sec. 1383. Bonds of officers; Supply Corps.Every officer of the Supply Corps of the United States Navy shall, before entering upon the duties of his office, give good and sufficient bond to the United States, to be approved by the Secretary of the Navy and in such sum as the Secretary may direct, faithfully to account for all public funds and property which he may Waiver of requirement.receive.
The Secretary of the Navy may, in his discretion, waive the requirements of this section in the case of officers of the Supply Corps who are not accountable for public funds or public property.” " That section 1383 of the Revised Statutes of the United States is hereby amended by striking out the period at the end of the section, inserting in lieu thereof a colon, and by adding the following: “*Provided*, That such requirement may, in the discretion of the Secretary of the Navy, be waived in the case of such officers who are not accountable for public funds or public property.

[[S. 2899](/us/bill/74/s/2899).] [[Public, No. 101](/us/pl/74/101).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Library of Congress, annex. Limit of cost increased. Vol. 46, p, 584; Vol. 48, p. 202. *Post*, p. 1226. That the limit of cost for the construction of the annex, Library of Congress, as fixed in section 4 of the Act entitled “An Act to provide for the construction and equipment of an annex to the Library of Congress”, approved June 13, 1930, is hereby increased by $2,866,340; and the Architect of the Capitol is hereby authorized to enter into a contract or contracts for such amount or so much thereof as may be necessary in addition to the contract authority heretofore fixed by law for such annex.
