(/us/pvt/74/223).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Walter J. Bryson Paving Company. Payment to. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay Walter J. Bryson Paving Company, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $3,500.50, in full and final settlement of all claims against the Government for certain dredging work performed by said company in the improvement of *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. the channel in the Anclote River, Florida: *Provided,* That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in connection with said claim.
It shall be unlawful for any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, to exact, collect, withhold, or receive any stun of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof on account of services rendered in connection with said claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Penalty for violation.Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.

August 15, 1935.[[S. 1079](/us/bill/74/s/1079).][[Private, No. 224](/us/pvt/74/224).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Biltmore-Oteen Bank. Execution of a certain indemnity agreement authorized. of the Treasury is authorized to execute, in the name of the United States, and deliver to the liquidating agent of the Biltmore-Oteen Bank, Biltmore, North Carolina, upon receipt from such liquidating agent of $385, an agreement of indemnity binding the United States to make reimbursement to such liquidating agent in the event that such liquidating agent is required to make payment to a bona-fide holder upon presentation of draft numbered 380, dated November 7, 1922, in the amount of $385, drawn by the Biltmore-Oteen Bank, Biltmore, North Carolina, on the Hanover National Bank, New York, *Proviso.* Appropriation available if payment becomes necessary.
New York, to the order of the Treasurer of the United States: *Provided,* That if the liquidating agent of the Biltmore-Oteen Bank is required to make payment to a bona-fide holder upon presentation of said draft numbered 380, the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $385 to said liquidating agent, pursuant to the terms of the indemnity agreement authorized by this Act.
