(/us/pvtl/72/268).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the ComptrollerNational Surety Company.Adjustment of claim of. General of the United States is hereby authorized and directed to adjust and settle the claim of the National Surety Company for refund of $500 on account of collections from the said National Surety Company as surety on a bond dated March 12, 1917, of Ovide Robin, former postmaster at Leonville, Louisiana, in excess of the principal amount of said bond, and to allow not to exceed $500 in full and final settlement of the claim.
There is herebyAppropriation. appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the payment of the claim.
