(/us/pvtl/72/266).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryBetty McBride.Gratuity payment to. Vol. 46, p. 565. of the Navy be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of the appropriation “ Pay, subsistence, and transportation, Navy, 1931,” to Miss Betty McBride, dependent sister of the late William McBride, fireman, first class, United States Navy, who died December 26, 1929, in the naval service, an amount equal to six months’ pay at the rate said William McBride was entitled to receive at the date of his death: *Provided*, That it be shown to the satisfaction*Proviso*.Proof of dependency. of the Secretary of the Navy that the said dependent sister was actually dependent on said enlisted man, and the determination of such fact by the Secretary of the Navy shall be final and conclusive on the accounting officers of the Government.

Hansen, for $1,000 deposited with the former United States Commissioner Fisk as bail for Guillaume Peyran and which amount the said United States commissioner converted to his own use, and to allow said claim in an amount not exceeding $1,000. There is hereby appropriated, out ofAppropriation. any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $1,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the payment of such claim.
