CHAP. 98.— An Act To increase the appropriation for the acquisition of a site for the new House Office Building. March 28, 1930.[[H. R. 11045](/us/bill/71/hr/11045).][[Public, No. 84](/us/pl/71/84).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, House Office Building.Amount for acquiring site for new, increased.Vol. 45, p. 1608.*Post*, pp. 514, 1184. That the appropriation “House Office Building,” contained in the First Deficiency Act, fiscal year 1929, is hereby made available for the payment of not to exceed $1,077,745.74 for the acquisition of such site notwithstanding the limit of cost for site named in such appropriation and Vol. 45, p. 1071, Amended.in section 1 of the Act entitled “An Act to provide for the acquisition of a site and the construction thereon of a fireproof office building or buildings for the House of Representatives, approved January 10, 1929.
