CHAP. 96.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the State of Illinois to widen, maintain, and operate the existing bridge across the Little Calumet River on Halsted Street near One hundred and forty-fifth Street, in Cook County, State of Illinois. March 28, 1930.[[H. R. 8971](/us/bill/71/hr/8971).][[Public, No. 82](/us/pl/71/82).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the consentLittle Calumet River.Illinois may widen and operate bridge across, on Halsted Street, Cook County. of Congress is hereby granted to the State of Illinois to widen, maintain, and operate the existing highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Little Calumet River, at a point on Halsted Street, near One hundred and forty-fifth Street, in section 8, township 36 north, range 14 east, third principal meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, in accordance with the provisions of the ActConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment, etc. expressly reserved. Approved, March 28, 1930.
