CHAP. 828.— An Act To authorize the sale of all of the right, title, interest, and estate of the United States of America in and to certain lands in the State of Michigan. July 3, 1930.[[S. 4683](/us/bill/71/s/4683).][[Public, No. 501](/us/pl/71/501).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Fort Gratiot, Mich.Lands within right of way over, may be sold. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized to cause to be appraised and to sell in parcels or as a whole upon such terms and conditions as he considers advisable, at not less than the appraised value, and to make proper deed of conveyance therefor all of the right, title, interest, and estate of the United States of America in and to the lands (or any part thereof) described in the instrument dated March 8, 1859, issued to the Chicago, Detroit and Canada Grand Trunk JunctionVol. 11, p. 381.
Railroad Company under the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act granting the right of way over and depot grounds on the military reserve at Fort Gratiot, in the State of Michigan, for railroad purposes,” approved February 8, 1859, as amended. Sec. 2. Disposition of proceeds. That the proceeds of said sale shall be deposited in the Treasury to the credit of the fund known as the military post construction fund, after first paying the expenses of and incident to the sale. Approved, July 3, 1930.
