CHAP. 796.— An Act For the relief of C. B. Smith. July 1, 1930.[[H. R. 794](/us/bill/71/hr/794).][[Private, No. 244](/us/pvtl/71/244).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary C. B. Smith. Payment to, for personal injuries. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to C. B. Smith, of Elizabethtown, Hardin County, Kentucky, the sum of $1,500 in full settlement of all claims against the United States for injuries arising out of a gunshot wound inflicted by the discharge of a machine gun in Elizabethtown on April 6, 1918.
