CHAP. 78.— Joint Resolution To provide for the expenses of participation by the United States in the International Conference for the Codification of International Law in 1930. March 15, 1930.[[H. J. Res. 223](/us/bill/71/hjres/223).][[Pub. Res., No. 50](/us/bill/71/pubres/50).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of Conference for Codification of International Law.Sum authorized for expenses of participating in.*Post*, p. 146.$25,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized to be appropriated for the expenses of participation by the United States by means of delegates to be appointed by the President in the International Conference for the Codification of International Law, to be convened at The Hague in March, 1930, including travel and subsistence or per diem in lieu of subsistence (notwithstanding the provisions of any other Act), compensation of employees, stenographic and other services in the District of Columbia or elsewhere by contract if deemed necessary, rent of offices, purchase of necessary books and documents, printing and binding, official cards, and such other expenses as may be authorized by the Secretary of State.
