CHAP. 702.— An Act For the relief of certain lessees or public lands in the State of Wyoming under the Act of February 25, 1920, as amended. June 27, 1930.[[S. 2864.](/us/bill/71/s/2864)][[Private, No. 179.](/us/pvtl/71/179)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Mineral leases of public lands in Wyoming.Refunds to designated lessees.Kinney-Coastal Oil Company.Ralph E. Wertz.Castle Oil Company. That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated,
(1)to the Kinney- Coastal Oil Company the sum of $15,000,
(2)to Ralph E. Wertz the sum of $2,910, and
(3)to the Castle Oil Company the sum of $2,495, as refund of a part of amounts paid to the United States for the purchase of oil and gas leases under the Act entitled “An Act toVol. 41, p. 437; Vol, 44, p. 922.[U. S. C., p. 2038](/us/usc/p2038). promote the mining of coal, phosphate, oil, oil shale, gas, and sodium on the public domain,” approved February 25, 1920, as amended, covering, respectively, the following-described lands in the State ofDescription. Wyoming, exclusive possession of which the Secretary of the Interior was unable to deliver to the said lessees:
(1)The southeast quarter northwest quarter and the southwest quarter northeast quarter section 29;
(2)the west half southeast quarter section 29; and
(3)the northeast quarter southwest quarter section 20, all in township 401938 north, range 78 west, sixth principal meridian, Wyoming: *Provided,* *Proviso.*Condition. That before payment is made of the sums herein specified, each lessee beneficiary hereunder shall file a relinquishment of all right, title, and interest found by the Secretary of the Interior to be held by such lessee in and to either or all of the respective tracts of land hereinbefore described. Approved, June 27, 1930.
