CHAP. 635.— An Act To create an additional judge for the southern district of Florida. June 27, 1930.[[H. R. 12842](/us/bill/71/hr/12842).][[Public, No. 449](/us/pl/71/449).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Stades of America in Congress assembled*, United States courts.Florida Southern District.Additional judge for.Vol. 36, p. 1108.[U. S. C., p. 878](/us/usc/878). That the President of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized, by and with the consent of the Senate, to appoint an additional judge of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of Florida, who shall reside in said district, and whose compensation, duties, and powers shall be the same as now provided by law for judges of said district.
Sec. 2. Effective date. That this Act shall take effect immediately. Approved, June 27, 1930.
