CHAP. 633.— An Act To provide for the appointment of an additional district judge for the southern district of California. June 27, 1930.[[S. 1792](/us/bill/71/s/1792).][[Public, No. 447](/us/pl/71/447).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the President United States courts.California Southern District.Additional judge tor.Vol. 38, p. 580.Vol. 42, p. 838.is authorized to appoint, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, an additional district judge for the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of California.
The judge so appointed shall reside in said district and his compensation and Compensation, etc.powers shall be the same as now provided by law for the judges of said district. A vacancy occurring at any time in the office of the Vacancy to be filled.district judge herein provided for is authorized to be filled. Approved, June 27, 1930.
