CHAP. 546.— An Act For the relief of Thomas G. Hayes. March 4, 1931[[S. 4509](/us/bill/71/s/4509)][[Private, No. 461](/us/pvtl/71/461)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the ComptrollerThomas G. Hayes.Reimbursement, for money contained in registered letter never received. General of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to adjust and settle the claim of Thomas G. Hayes, formerly private, Company A, One hundred and forty-second Machine Gun Battalion, Camp Beauregard, Alexandria, Louisiana, as reimbursement for money he failed to receive which was contained in registered letter numbered 15158, which letter was mailed to him by Miss E.
Hoffman, New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 26, 1918, andAppropriation. to allow in full and final settlement of said claim not to exceed $40. There is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $40, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to pay said claim. Approved, March 4, 1931.
