CHAP. 515.— An Act For the relief of George F. Newhart, Clyde Hahn, and David McCormick. June 17, 1930[[H. R. 885](/us/bill/71/hr/885)][[Private, No. 94](/us/prv/71/94)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* George F. Newhart, etc.Reimbursement to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any funds not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement against the Government, to George F.
Newhart, Clyde Hahn, and David McCormick the sum of $398.76, being the amount paid out by them by reason of expenses incurred by them and judgment rendered against them through the wrongful arrest of William Edward Benner, under a warrant issued by the United States Navy Department based upon an erroneous charge that the said William Edward Benner was a deserter from the United States Navy.
