CHAP. 491.— Joint Resolution To provide for the naming of a prominent mountain or peak within the boundaries of Mount McKinley National Park, Alaska, in honor of Carl Ben Eielson. June 14, 1930.[[S. Res., No. 87](/us/pl/71/87).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Mount Eleison, Alaska.Mountain in Mount McKinley National Park named in honor of Carl Ben Eleison. That a mountain or peak, unofficially known as Copper Mountain, located at the headwaters of the Mount McKinley River, lying in a northeasterly direction from Mount McKinley in the Mount McKinley National Park, Alaska, is hereby permanently named Mount Eielson in honor of the pioneer work in aviation performed in Alaska and the North by Carl Ben Eielson.
