CHAP. 464.— An Act For the relief of James P. Sloan. June 11, 1930[[H. R. 2587](/us/bill/71/hr/2587)][[Private, No. 79](/us/prv/71/79)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the SecretaryJames P. Sloan.Gratuity pay, for death of son. of the Navy be authorized and directed to pay to James P. Sloan gratuity in the amount of $324, on account of the death of his son, Andrew Jarvis Sloan, killed in line of duty on board the United States ship Mississippi on June 12, 1924: *Provided*, That the said*Proviso*.Dependence to be established.
James P. Sloan establish to the satisfaction of the Secretary of the Navy that he was actually dependent upon his son, Andrew Jarvis Sloan, at the time of the latter’s death. Approved, June 11, 1930.
