CHAP. 451.— An Act For the relief of Ellen B. Monahan. June 10, 1930[[H. R. 3257](/us/bill/71/hr/3257)][[Private, No. 76](/us/prv/71/76)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Ellen B. Monahan.Payment to, for physical injuries. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Ellen B. Monahan, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, in full settlement against the Government, the sum of $1,000 for physical injuries received by her as the result of being overcome by illuminating gas escaping from a pipe (said to have been broken through the negligence of an employee of the Treasury Department) on the 14th day of June, 1911, while she was in the employ of the Government of the United States and in the discharge of her duties as a clerk in the national bank redemption agency office of the Treasury of the United States.
