R. 14](/us/bill/71/hr/14).][[Public, No. 823](/us/pl/71/823).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, The Star-Spangled Banner.Composition known as, designated the national anthem. That the composition consisting of the words and music known as The Star-Spangled Banner is designated the national anthem of the United States of America. Approved, March 3, 1931.
