CHAP. 404.— Joint Resolution Authorizing the appointment of an envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary to the Union of South Africa. June 5, 1930.[[H. J. Res., No. 81](/us/bill/71/pubres/81).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, Union of South Africa.Envoy extraordinary and plenipotentiary to, authorized.Compensation.*Post*, p. 884. That the President be, and he is hereby, authorized to appoint, as the representative of the United States, an envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary to the Union of South Africa, who shall receive as compensation the sum of $10,000 per annum.
