CHAP. 40.— Joint Resolution Making an appropriation to carry out the provisions of the public resolution entitled “Joint resolution for the relief of farmers in the drought and/or storm stricken areas of the United States,” approved December 20, 1930. Res., No. 114](/us/bill/71/pubres/114).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That to enable the SecretaryDrought and storm stricken areas. of Agriculture to carry into effect the provisions of the publicAppropriation for relief of farmers, etc., in. resolution entitled “Joint resolution for the relief of farmers in the drought and/or storm stricken areas of the United States,”*Ante*, p. 1032.*Post*, p. 1086.Administrative expenses. approved December 20, 1930, including the employment of persons and means in the city of Washington and elsewhere, printing, purchase of law books not to exceed $1,000, rent in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, and for the collection of moneys due the United States on account of loans made thereunder, there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwiseAvailability.Services in the District. appropriated, the sum of $45,000,000, to remain available until June 30, 1932, of which amount not to exceed $80,000 may be expended for departmental personal services in the District of Columbia.
