CHAP. 34.— Joint Resolution For the appointment of a joint committee of the Senate and House of Representatives to investigate the pay and allowances of the commissioned and enlisted personnel of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Coast and Geodetic Survey, and Public Health Service. Res., No. 36](/us/bill/71/pubres/36).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That a joint committeePay readjustment, Army, etc.Joint Congressional Committee to investigate and recommend. to be composed of five Members of the Senate, to be appointed by the Vice President, and five Members of the House of Representatives, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, shall make an investigation and report recommendations by bill or otherwise to their respective Houses relative to the readjustment of the pay and allowances of the commissioned and enlisted personnel of the several services mentioned in the title of this joint resolution.
