CHAP. 297.— An Act To aid the Grand Army of the Republic in its Memorial Day services, May 30, 1930. May 19, 1930.[[S. 3498](/us/bill/71/s/3498).][[Public, No. 235](/us/pl/71/235).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the sum ofMemorial Day, 1930.Sum authorized to aid the Grand Army of the Republic in celebration of. $2,500 be, and the same is hereby, authorized to be appropriated to aid the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Day Corporation in its Memorial Day services, May 30, 1930, and in the decoration of the graves of the Union soldiers, sailors, and marines with flags and*Post*, p. 488. flowers in the national cemeteries in the District of Columbia and in the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
Sec. 2. That said fund shall be paid to the treasurer of the GrandDisbursement of funds. Army of the Republic Memorial Day Corporation and shall be disbursed by him for said memorial service. Approved, May 19, 1930.
